Loan Modifications/Forebearances & the Commercial Sale Agreement @ Zoom Online Class

To start out class, Erik Arevalo, Loan Workouts Specialist with First Tech Credit Union and an Oregon First, Realtors® agent will talk about what he’s seeing in the loan industry right now. This is not about people applying for loans—he does loan modifications and forbearances. They’re very busy right now, as you can imagine. I thought everyone could benefit from hearing what he’s experiencing and being able to ask questions of him.

Once everyone’s questions are answered, we’ll start going over the Commercial Sale Agreement. We’ve been talking a lot about working with investors lately, going over how to figure rates of return on investment properties and tenant rights, so a review of the Commercial Sale Agreement is in order. We’ll discuss only those parts that differ from the Residential Sale Agreement. If we have time, we’ll also look over the Investment Addendum that goes with it. Taught by Oregon First’s President, Mickey J. Lindsay.

Investment Addendum & Offer Writing Workshop @ Zoom Online Class

We’ll be wrapping up the whole series of classes we’ve been doing on investment properties by going over the Investment Property Addendum and answering any final questions you have on the topic. Then we’ll get started on a commercial property Offer Writing Workshop. I’ll be your buyer and give you a scenario and you guys are going to write the offer for me (actually, I’ll be writing the offer along with you). These Workshops are a great way for you guys to get some practice writing offers BEFORE you have to write one up in real life.

Case-Shiller Report; Legal Hotline Q&A

Then we’ll take a look at how the OAR Legal Hotline has answered some of the same sorts of questions as we’ve been answering in our You Be The Principal Broker series. This should be interesting since there are always differences of opinion or experience that lead to slightly different answers or different emphases.

Then, if there’s time, we’ll look at PMAR’s most recent version of Best Practices.
