Got some interesting questions from the new agents at our Saturday class that I thought would make for interesting discussions at our Monday class:
- What is a “Pocket Listing”? What form do you use for that and whom do you represent?
- How do you handle it if your listing is CSN and someone wants to write an offer “subject to interior inspection”? Could you go right to the Exclusion from RMLS option if the offer is really, really good?
- We are supposed to keep the confidences of our clients even after our agency relationships terminate. But what if we were just on a listing appointment—we never actually signed a listing contract—and during the discussion the seller told us their bottom line price-wise. If we’re working for a buyer interested in that house, can we share the info we learned from the seller with our buyers, who really are our clients?
