“Lindsay did a fantastic job as our buyer’s agent for an inter-state move into the Portland area. She is extremely responsive, diligent and knowledgeable about the area. She took the time to patiently learn our requirements and desires and pruned the otherwise daunting task of house hunting in a new area down to an efficient, manageable process focused on the right homes. She also pointed us at various helpful web sites which enabled us to do our own deeper research into various topics.
Lindsay was extremely organized and a great communicator. She kept notes on our house feedback and continually tailored and updated her lists to home in on our dream place. She would also give clear and regular updates on the status of items, next steps, owners and ETAs.
Lindsay has a valuable network of contacts including inspectors, loan brokers, repair companies, handymen and contractors which enabled us to quickly progress through a number of paths in parallel to hit our target closing date. This was especially helpful as we were out of state for most of the process.
Lindsay worked directly on site with the various inspectors that were involved, understood all of the items and recommendations in their reports and was able to walk us through the various pieces so we could understand and prioritize issues. She then drove the remediation of the top items before our closing.
Finally, Lindsay was an effective negotiator who enabled us to trim down the final purchase price on a home which had already had a number of price reductions.

“Kris was amazing to work with. After several missed opportunities, I knew it was time to leave my previous agents and work with Kris instead. To be honest, I thought she was getting a pretty good deal. I knew the exact property I wanted, albeit with slightly particular sellers. As it turns out, this ended up being the most time consuming, legally complex, and frustrating real estate transaction I have ever been involved in, all due to the sellers. Thank goodness I had someone like Kris to work with. I was ready to walk away so many times, but she took the time to keep me calm, help me keep things in perspective, and when things got particularly contentious she clearly defined when I needed to get an outside legal opinion (and provided a great referral!).
